Qiang Niang tracks Carrie's quest to regain her memory and unravel the mystery surrounding her ultimate "Awakening." The tale takes place during the years 2025 to 2030 in the midst of a worldwide conflict that has decimated half the population while rendering humanity impotent. Modern warfare has evolved into a virtual game complete with advanced weaponry such as satellite lasers, bomb drones, intelligent AI, and unmanned tanks and gun turrets seizing victory over the battlefield.
