With his sleek and slim-fit suit and trademark glossy shades, Shizuo Heiwajima is said to rule the streets of Ikebukuro with an effortless air of dominance. The rumors of his formidable presence inspire the unremarkable bartender, Shizuo Nobusuma, to take advantage and become a con artist. To mask his true identity, the imposter dons a blond wig and impersonates Shizuo. He believes he can manipulate the district's residents to do his bidding. However, his plans crumble as soon as the real Shizuo catches up with him. Matters only worsen when he crosses paths with Izaya Orihara - a notorious information broker who takes enjoyment in tormenting Shizuo.
