Being an adventurer in a party is the most coveted profession in a world where monster invasions are rampant and frequent, owing to the prestige and recognition it offers. Eager to make a name for himself, Alvin, a young human warrior, aims to launch his career by completing a low-level mission for the guild. During his journey, Alvin finds himself in a serious predicament when he comes face to face with a magical bear. Fortunately, Karla, a dark-elf healer who appears clueless about the situation in front of her, offers to assist Alvin. Their conversation becomes complicated due to Karla's bizarre personality, but eventually, Alvin persuades her to help him. However, instead of healing him, Karla unwittingly casts a curse on him, which will cause him to perish if he strays too far from her. Despite being compelled to accompany Karla until the curse is lifted, Alvin remains resolute in his desire to become a full-fledged adventurer.
