While on a paleontology mission in Africa, Dr. Taylor was accompanied by his son Max and his son's best friend, Rex. While exploring, Max stumbled upon ancient stone slabs adorned with images of dinosaurs. To their surprise, the images came to life and called upon Max, Rex, and their friend Zoe to help them. It quickly became clear that an evil organization, led by the nefarious Dr. Z, had traveled back in time to capture the dinosaurs and use them to conquer the world. Max, Rex, and Zoe must travel the globe to defeat Dr. Z and his Alpha Gang while also protecting the prehistoric creatures.
