Onomichi, Hiroshima is a place where fish have vanished from the sea across the globe, leaving only whales to survive in the ocean. To address this issue, the Ministry of Fishery proposes a plan to create enormous experimental Universe Fish Tanks in space. Consequently, the Onomichi Universe Fishery Union comes into existence, and they embark on training space fishermen. The Union prioritizes female candidates, in line with the equal employment law for men and women. Among the selected six new space fishermen, the story revolves around their development and the support extended to them.
