As she enters high school, Nanami Takahashi hopes to make new friends. However, she initially dislikes classmate Yano Motoharu due to his attitude and his past with Yuri's older sister, Nana. Despite this, Nanami eventually warms up to Yano and they begin dating. However, Yano's difficulty in opening up to Nanami is due to the fact that his previous girlfriend, Nana, died in a car accident while being unfaithful with an ex-boyfriend. The specter of Yano's relationship with Nana looms over their own relationship, and Nanami and Yano struggle to stay together amidst misunderstandings and heartbreak, all the while knowing their love for each other.
