As a detective posted at the Modern Crime Prevention Headquarters, Daisuke Kanbe is an incredibly wealthy individual who teams up with Haru Katou – a detective who values justice over everything – to investigate and solve cases. Though they present intricately contrasting personalities, the two of them need to collaborate to tackle their current cases. Although Haru disapproves of Daisuke's inclination of utilizing his affluence to solve crimes, the latter considers non-monetary aspects as more critical. Together, they have to combine their strengths and solve the conundrums that confront them.
