Yorito Morimiya is fixated on capturing various appearances of the sky through photography, including sunrises, sunsets, and clouds. During one of his missions to capture a sunrise, he comes across a peculiar girl who is arguing with a vending machine over her beverage. After successfully retrieving her tomato juice, the girl mysteriously disappears without a trace. Sola tells the story of Yorito, his sibling Aono, childhood friends Mana and Koyori Ishizuki, and an elusive girl with a sinister secret. In a world where supernatural forces and magic are ever-present and people's true identities are obscured, love and solitude battle for supremacy in Yorito's sky.
