Set in 2142, Wonderful Days depicts the consequences of environmental pollution on Earth. With the population dwindling and only a select few able to survive the destruction of the ecosystem, the city of Ecoban is established to mitigate the chaos by utilizing pollution as a source of energy. Unfortunately, this leads to an exclusive group of elites who believe they are superior and limit access to outsiders except as laborers. Shua resides beyond Ecoban in a barren wasteland and seeks refuge in the love he harbors for his childhood friend, Jay. However, Jay's attraction to her security commander, Cade, creates a complex love triangle. Despite his heartbreak, Shua must summon the inner strength to persevere in a world that progressively disintegrates due to the loss of Earth's former grandeur.
