Upon waking up in a world besieged with calamities, an individual is bewildered to discover they have been transformed into a Squirtle. This new reality takes a surprising turn when they cross paths with Charmander and Chikorita, who belong to Team Go-Getters - a group comprised of skilled Pokémon trained in performing rescues. Squirtle decides to team up with them in a quest to liberate Pichu, Pikachu's kin, from the savage Skarmory. However, their efforts are hindered by the evil Gengar and his cronies from Team Meanies, putting a wrench in their attempts to succeed.
