When the King of Forland, Alita's father, dies in a coup d'etat, she's forced to flee. But then she meets the dangerous bounty hunter Falis, and they swap bodies due to an odd occurrence. In order to safeguard her kingdom, Alita convinces Falis to take her identity as a protective measure. Falis rises to power and easily overthrows the opposition while assuming the role of the new Princess of Forland. From there, Falis takes control, and thus the fearful "Murder Princess" emerges, ushering in a new era for their kingdom.
