After bidding farewell to his former teammates in the baseball club at Kaido High School, Gorou Honda returns to his hometown, determined to keep playing. However, adjusting to a new high school proves to be more challenging than expected. Tetsufumi Egashira launches a vicious smear campaign against Gorou, preventing him from joining any school with an established baseball team. With no other options available, Gorou enrolls at Seishuu High School, which was previously a girls-only school without a baseball team for boys. Despite this setback, Gorou remains undeterred in his pursuit of Koshien. He sets out to create a baseball team from scratch with the seven male students at Seishuu, who are all rookies to the sport. His ultimate goal is to lead his fledgling team to national-level success, but the road ahead is far from easy.
