Hitomi Tsukishiro lives in a magical world but lacks any emotions. During a fireworks show, her grandmother, Kohaku, transports her back to high school in 2018 using magic fueled by moonlight. Kohaku assures Hitomi that she will understand soon why she time-traveled. As Hitomi sets out on an unfamiliar train ride, she enters an artist's room named Yuito Aoi. Through Yuito's artwork, she sees her monochrome world transform into a colorful one. What Hitomi's connection with Yuito is and how his art affects her remains unknown.
