However, if a soul remains in the human world for too long, it transforms into a corrupt "Hollow," preying on other souls. In such situations, "Soul Reapers" are needed to eliminate the Hollows and guide the lost souls to the Soul Society. Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki, two seasoned Soul Reapers, are accustomed to dealing with Hollows that emerge in Karakura Town.
