By using her Zunda Arrow, Zunko Tohoku can transform any type of mochi into delicious zunda mochi. She and her friends Kiritan Tohoku, Itako Tohoku, Usagi Chuugoku, Metan Shikoku, and Sora Kyushu indulge in the tasty treat and feel a sense of joyfulness. Contrarily, Chanko Ooedo runs the Natto Factory in the company of Tsurugi Chubu, Shinobi Kansai, Awamo Okinawa, and Meron Hokkaido. Although zunda and natto are made from the same kind of bean, edamame is harvested earlier for zunda than soybeans for natto. Thus, the members of the Natto Factory worry about a decrease in the supply of soybeans. Chanko decides to send Awamo Okinawa and Meron Hokkaido to kill Zunko, but a third party intervenes.
