As R.D. endeavors to unearth the legendary Alpha Zoid, he works tirelessly as a messenger for Mach Storm Company, which also operates as a Zoid Fighting group. While participating in his first Coliseum battle, R.D. encounters a rival gang with a distinctive Zoid fusion ability. Surprisingly, R.D. discovers that his Liger Zero Zoid can flawlessly merge with another specimen. This victorious realization motivates R.D. to embark on a quest for knowledge and pursue the elusive Alpha Zoid.
