Many centuries ago, a great conflict erupted between the Netherworld and the Spirit World. The victorious Spirit World banished Lord Yakumo, the Netherworld's reigning King, to the outermost regions of the cosmos. In the present day, a team of five outstanding champions from the Spirit World must band together to confront Yakumo's monstrous Demon-Gods and seize control of five sacred sites. Yet, Yakumo is perilously near to retrieving the Power Sphere, the vital force that sustains his dominion. If he acquires this object, our world will be besieged by the Netherworld, and its inhabitants will face dire consequences.
