The plot takes cues from the video game "Legend of Xanadu." In the story, Reichswar, a malevolent wizard, kills the King and takes hold of a powerful crystal that would enable him to have complete control over the kingdom of Xanadu. To add to the misfortune, Queen Rieru, grieving the loss of her spouse, is taken captive by the villainous sorcerer. A courageous and proficient young hero, armed with the magical Dragonslayer, sets out on a mission to rescue her.
