The core of this anime follows four adventurers as they venture through the barren terrain of Filgaea, constructing a remarkable legacy by playing the titular Playstation game. These four individuals include Sheyenne Rainstorm, who yields the fearsome ARMs firearm; Kiel Aromax, a scientist endowed with a warrior's physique; Roleta Oratorio, the Crest Sorceress who wields powerful magic with her deck of Crests; and one of the Vampire Noble Red, Mirabelle Graceland, who lives alongside humans.
