The story takes place in Ooarai, a city located in the Ibaraki prefecture, and revolves around Masaki Hinaoka. During the summer break, Masaki crosses paths with transfer student Shou Akitsuki, and their friendship leads Masaki to discover a passion for surfing. As he delves deeper into the sport, Masaki gains new friends but also experiences the natural ebb and flow of relationships as he navigates his transition into adulthood.
