After suffering from a painful breakup, Minare Koda, a restaurant employee, finds herself in a state of intoxication and despair. Sharing her grievances with a total stranger, Kanetsugu Matou, a local radio station director from Sapporo, Hokkaido, Minare unleashes her emotional turmoil. The following day, Minare is filled with shock and bewilderment as she hears a recording of her intoxicated outburst playing on the radio. Determined to stop the broadcast, Minare rushes to the radio station to confront Matou. However, this confrontation turns into an unplanned on-air conversation, where Minare showcases her smooth and energetic storytelling skills. Impressed by her talent, Matou offers Minare a position as a late-night talk show host, where she shares amusing tales set in Sapporo while juggling a day job and personal struggles.
