Before World War II, the Nakano Naval Academy ran a secret school for girls named the "Virgin Fleet," where they were taught to harness their special ability known as the "Virgin Energy." As tensions between Russia and Japan rose, inexperienced aviator Shiokaze Umino must hone her skills to protect Japan from imminent disaster.
