Every character in this film holds a distinct symbolic significance. Throughout his arduous quest to capture the white bird, the protagonist confronts his own inner guilt, fear, and confusion. After a tumultuous journey of searching, he is eventually reborn. The film premiered at the Annecy International Film Festival in June 2017 and was later commercialized in China in April 2018.
