On a lovely day, Kagami Kazuya, an ordinary lad, encounters Kiriha, a magnificent maiden adorned in a traditional Japanese garment. Eventually, he learns that Kiriha is a tsukumogami - a spirit that inhabits an object; namely, the cherished obi that Kazuya possesses as a keepsake of his mother.
