In a far-off time, Violenjiger, an evil being, brings back to life nine of Destron's most dreaded generals. As the Destrons attack a world and harm numerous survivors, Cybertron's leader, Victory Saber, sustains grave wounds. In his stead, Dai-Atlas, a courageous machine, is chosen to lead the Cybertron forces, along with Sonic Bomber. Their crucial mission is to safeguard the enigmatic "Zodiac" crystal on Earth while preventing Violenjiger from obtaining it.
