Hikaru Kicker has been infatuated with football since he was given a ball by his father's friend as a baby. Now, at 13 years old, he has dedicated his entire life to perfecting his skills with the ball. In order to pursue his passion for the sport, Hikaru travels to Italy, where he joins a highly skilled team in Genova. However, he eventually decides to leave and play with a weaker team, known as "Columbus," alongside his friend Anna. Despite facing numerous challenges and obstacles, Hikaru and his team gradually improve and manage to defeat Margerita, one of Genova's toughest soccer teams. When news of Genova's inaugural soccer tournament surfaces, Hikaru and his teammates face tough competitors and learn valuable lessons about maturity and teamwork along the way. Amidst all the excitement and anticipation, the question remains: will Hikaru be able to score a goal in the championship game, and which team will ultimately claim the coveted title?
