The skilled onmyouji, Subaru Sumeragi, is tasked with exorcising a construction site, but his employer meets an unusual demise, and the sole suspect appears to evade death easily. Things get even more complicated as he meets a young woman who blames the same man for her brother's murder and vows to curse him. Amidst all this chaos, Subaru teams up with his twin sister, Hokuto Sumeragi, and close friend, Seishirou Sakurazuka, to uncover the truth behind the employer's death and confront malevolent spirits guarding the suspect. Subaru is also the 13th leader of the Sumeragi Clan.
