Ayu Tateishi, a well-regarded student in her second year of middle school, is admired for her grace, poise, and style. She deliberately crafted this image to catch the attention of her crush, Tetsushi Kaji, who had complimented her on these characteristics before. Ayu's entire world revolves around studying, playing tennis, and talking to Tetsushi, until she comes across a small computer beneath a bench. After returning the device to Nina Sakura, a girl who had lost it previously, Ayu learns Nina's secret and is trusted with it. When a disagreement arises between the school's two tennis teams regarding court usage, Ayu is given the responsibility of resolving the issue by competing against Hiroki Tsujiai, the captain of the boys' team and Tetsushi's best friend. Despite her fears of failure and embarrassment, Nina extends a helping hand to Ayu, revealing that she is a witch who was expelled from the Magic Kingdom's middle school. She is excited to assist Ayu in winning the match by casting a spell on a piece of chocolate.
