Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai is a series adapted from JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken that chronicles the bizarre escapades of Rohan Kishibe as he searches for inspiration for his manga. In Fugou Mura, Rohan tags along with his editor, Kyouka Izumi, to a mysterious village where locals become affluent upon reaching 25 years of age. As they attempt to purchase a home, they are met with Ikkyuu, a servant who subjects them to a life-threatening etiquette challenge. In Mutsukabezaka, Rohan recounts to his editor, Minoru Kagamari, how he purchased six mountains to uncover the Mutsukabezaka spirit, along with the story of Naoko Osato, an accursed heiress who killed her lover. Rohan takes a hiatus from his manga and ventures to Venice where he surveys the interior of a church in Zangenshitsu. It is there that he hears a confession concerning a clash with a starving beggar and the resulting paranormal events. In The Run, Youma Hashimoto, a young model, encounters Rohan at the gym, and their rivalry leads to Youma becoming obsessively fixated on his appearance and an intense competition atop the treadmills that results in a perilous outcome.
