Junpei Ryuzouji, a martial artist with a loud mouth, Airi Komiyama, an elegant actress, and Ritsuko Inoue, a cheerful student obsessed with artillery, all find themselves in an unfamiliar, magical world after being transported from Japan. Celcia Marieclaire, an elven priestess, tries to send them back with a spell, but it gets interrupted and scattered throughout the world, imprinting on the skin of various elves. The trio travels in Ritsuko's tank, searching for elves with spell fragments. Celcia needs these fragments to transfer them to her body and make the spell whole again. On their adventure, the group becomes known as "Those Who Hunt Elves," gaining a reputation for stopping evil-doers with their miraculous cannon, terrifying the elves by stripping those who carry the fragments. Although not the sharpest group, their enthusiasm and strong determination to return to Japan more than make up for it.
