Tomoe, the protagonist of Tomoe ga Yuku! is an adventurous roller skater who dares to glide down the highways for excitement. After experiencing the tragic loss of a friend due to a roller skating mishap, Tomoe becomes a member of a daring squad named Green Ship. Despite grieving her friend's demise, Tomoe plunges into a romantic relationship with the team's chief, Kazusa, without hesitation. However, she soon finds out that Green Ship is a facade for a lethal training ground for assassins.
