Vampires are known for their immense strength, but they are also susceptible to weaknesses that balance out their power. However, the powerful vampire lord, Draluc, seems to be vulnerable to practically anything. Ronald, a skilled vampire hunter, is hired to rescue a woman's son from Draluc's castle. As he infiltrates the castle, he witnesses the supposedly "Invincible Progenitor" disintegrate at the mere sound of a clap. To his surprise, the child he was sent to save was casually playing video games in Draluc's lair. After Draluc's castle is destroyed, the fragile vampire seeks refuge with Ronald, the hunter who defeated him. Together with Draluc's pet armadillo, John, this unlikely trio bands together to defend themselves against Ronald's violent editor, rogue vampires lurking in the city, and even their own kind.
