In a far-off future, civilization has been destroyed by a prolonged interplanetary war that lasted centuries. Only a small portion of the human population, one-fifth to be exact, has survived the catastrophic event, leaving them with nothing but loss and despair. In the aftermath of the war, a unique faction emerged, known as "The Third." Members of this group possess a third eye, which they call "space eyes." These red, oval-shaped pupils above their usual two eyes allow them to manipulate computer systems and technology, giving them unparalleled dominance over the world. Our protagonist, Honoka, is a versatile and skilled mercenary living in this world. She has a strict moral code and refuses to take on murder contracts. One day, while wandering the desert, she stumbles across a young man named Ikus, whom she rescues. Honoka subsequently embarks on an adventure with Ikus in his world and takes on his job offer.
