The night finds four laborers gathered around the campfire, with three engaging in casual discussions, and the fourth fast asleep. Suddenly, they are disturbed by strange noises, which rouse the sleeping worker from his slumber, but the individual falls asleep once more, only to be haunted by nightmares.
