Huey Anthony Disward sets out on a quest with Dalian to locate a coveted Phantom Book in Sergeant Callavos' territory. Along their journey, they seek the guidance of Thalia, a local herbalist, and travel to a faraway village to gather vital intelligence. Despite rumors of Callavos and his kin dying in a tragic blaze six months prior, his daughter Florence has supposedly been sighted in a nearby forest, accused of starting the fire. To resolve the allegations, Huey and Dalian visit the lord's estate, where they unearth a complex past.
