The classic novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" has been adapted into a Chinese-Japanese anime, following the story of Lui Bei's quest to bring peace to his strife-ridden homeland. Accompanied by his loyal brothers-in-arms Zhang Fei and Guan Yu, Lui Bei faces the challenges of leading a small army with no territory to call their own. In order to ensure his safety against constant threats to his life, Lui Bei must humbly submit to the authority of other generals.
