Ashran took power when the three Suns and three Moons aligned over Idhun, beginning the reign of the winged snakes. The initial fight for Idhun's liberation occurs on Earth, with Jack and Victoria battling Kirtash, a hired killer sent by Ashran to eliminate the fugitive idhunites.
