While taking a walk in the woods, Sho and his friend Tetsurou chance upon a strange alien artifact. Suddenly, the artifact breaks its metallic bindings and assimilates into Sho's body, transforming him into a powerful entity known as the Guyver. This newfound strength comes with a grave responsibility, as the evil Chronos corporation and their gene-modified Zoanoids relentlessly seek to reclaim the artifact. Sho understands that those near him are in peril, and he must engage in battle to protect them.
