"Kin No Tori" is a film adaptation of the timeless Brothers Grimm fable, "The Golden Bird." The story revolves around a stolen golden apple from the King's garden. The three sons are tasked with protecting the fruit and identifying the thief in rotation. The youngest son, Hansu, produces a feather that belongs to the golden bird that took the apple. This causes the King to order the capture of the bird, leading to Hansu's quest. Despite being finished in 1984, the movie was not revealed until three years after post-production.
