Vanitas no Carte's second cour follows the story of Noé in 19th-century Paris as he embarks on a mission to find the Book of Vanitas. After being targeted by a crazed vampire, a human doctor named Vanitas persuades him to join a risky plan to "cure" all vampires. Despite the danger, Vanitas learns that the infamous Beast of Gévaudan has resurfaced and enlists Noé's help to investigate.
