The "Seraphim," a divine race that bestows blessings upon humanity and receives prayers in return, are mentioned in the Celestial Records. The select few who possess the ability to communicate with these beings are called "Shepherds," revered for their quick responses in moments of crisis, yet also feared for their immense power. Stories of these Shepherds alongside the Seraphim have become a popular part of folklore. Sorey grew up among the Seraphim in Elysia, and his interest in the Celestial Records drives him to explore nearby ruins with Mikleo, his childhood Seraphim friend, hoping to learn more about their race's history with humanity. Their investigation takes a dangerous turn, as they become trapped in the depths of the historical site. While searching for a way out, they encounter a mysterious girl who pleads with them to find a Shepherd to save the world from being consumed by darkness. Despite Mikleo's caution against contacting humans, Sorey decides to assist the stranger, unknowingly bringing him closer to fulfilling his dream of peaceful coexistence between man and Seraphim.
