Mayumi, aged fifteen, is forced to relocate to a seedy part of Osaka after her parents separate and enter into new marriages. With the assistance of Noriko, she assimilates into her unfamiliar surroundings. During one of Noriko's shifts at a gas station, they become acquainted with Big Bear and his motorcyclist cohorts, resulting in their eventual inclusion in a female racing gang.
