At the beginning of his second year in high school, Mitsuyoshi Tada has never prioritized love. That is, until he encounters a vibrant foreigner named Teresa Wagner while snapping shots of a cherry blossom tree. Although they part ways after she asks him to take her picture, they unexpectedly reunite twice more that day. When a sudden downpour interrupts their reunion, Tada brings Teresa to his family's coffee shop. Over coffee, she tells him about her companion, Alexandra ''Alec'' Magritte, whom she lost in the rain. Unbeknownst to them, Tada will see them again as transfer students at school the next day.
Teresa and Alec adapt quickly to their new school and join Tada in the photography club, where they meet his quirky classmates: the conceited Kaoru Ijuuin, the idol-obsessed Hajime Sugimoto, the sincere class representative Hinako Hasegawa, and the dog-like Kentarou Yamashita. With these two peculiar strangers in the mix, Tada's second year of high school is about to become even more eventful, and he may need to reconsider his apathetic views on love.
