Guided by a reclusive monk, Nanashi, a youthful samurai, roams in search of the meaning of life. To combat Japan and China's oppressive regimes, he must perform violent acts, all while learning the essence of existence. Despite being enigmatic and insightful, the samurai must expose a darker side of himself to fulfill his mission and liberate society.
