Two centuries have passed since the Space Era began and human civilization began expanding into space. However, chaos struck Earth at the turn of the 21st century when two meteors smashed into the planet. By the year 179 of the Space Era, the Earth Federal Government stumbled upon a secret technology called Extra-Over Technology (EOT) within a third meteor that hit the Marquesas Islands in the South Pacific. The head of the EOTI Institute, Dr. Bian Zoldark, discovered that the EOT creators were returning to Earth, possibly to invade or reclaim it. To safeguard against extraterrestrial threats, the government initiated research and development of humanoid mechas known as Personal Troopers.
