In May 2018, V-Jump announced a promotional anime for Dragon Ball Heroes. The game, a Japanese arcade and trading card game, has not yet been released in Western markets. Despite not having a TV broadcast, the upcoming anime is highly anticipated, even though it is expected to be brief. The anime will adapt the Prison Planet Arc from the Heroes manga, which has been extensively detailed in the Saikyou Jump but has not yet been released in English. The debut episode is scheduled to be shown at Aeon Lake Town on July 1, 2018.
