Legend has it that fireworks provide solace to souls that have passed away. Tomoya Sugisaki, Aoi Harukawa, and Ryou Kobayashi, however, encounter the infamous Summer Ghost after following the trail of fireworks. This elusive ghost, supposedly that of a young lady who committed suicide, can only be witnessed by those in close proximity to death and materializes in a specified location. Tomoya, a talented artist, struggles to cope with academic pressures, while Aoi is meek and a frequent target of bullying. Ryou, a once successful athlete, gives up on his dreams due to a devastating prognosis. The only common link between the three teens is their unique ability to see the Summer Ghost, a powerful figure rumored to protect the deceased. Drawn in by the ghost’s reputation, they band together to decode her existence. Their first encounter, however, leaves much to be desired and drives Tomoya to seek out the Summer Ghost once again. But as they grow more familiar with her presence, the trio begins to unravel deeply buried secrets that only deepen the enigma surrounding the ghost with each passing moment.
