Kei Takishima has always outranked Hikari Hanazono. Introduced to each other by their fathers who share a love for professional wrestling, Hikari's confidence crumbled when challenged to a match by Kei at only six years old. From then on, Hikari was determined to surpass Kei in all aspects of life, enrolling in the same prestigious school as him and striving to beat him academically and athletically. Despite being the top two students at Hakusenkan, Kei remains firmly in the number one spot, while Hikari views him as both a worthy adversary and dear friend. Unbeknownst to her, Kei is in love with her. The story follows Hikari as she continues to try to best Kei and discovers the love that grows from their intense rivalry.
