Sonic Soldier Borgman, an OVA series, follows the 1980s TV show that focused on a group of genetically enhanced human crime fighters called Borgmen. As a continuation of the original Borgman team story, this volume takes place years later and brings back the three surviving members: Ryo (a rocket scientist), Anise (his girlfriend), and Chuck Sweager (a police officer). Together they fight against an army of undead attackers who seek to cause chaos and destruction in the emotionally-charged episode called "Lover's Rain".
