In a land brimming with supernatural creatures like demons and cyclopes, humans are considered outcasts. Angered by their treatment, humans waged a brutal war that almost wiped them out entirely. The remaining individuals are considered a rare delicacy, sought after and consumed with relish. However, the fate of the humans shifts when Golem, a roving protector of nature, discovers a lone human child during his routine patrols. He becomes captivated by her infectious joy and takes her under his wing as he travels. Together, they embark on a journey to reunite the girl, Somali, with her people and lead her back home.
